To us, Wambo means forward movement—frugal action. Internet entrepreneurs join hands with us to realize their dreams without raising expensive risk-capital. Helping entrepreneurs maintain large ownership stakes and long-term business control is a goal.

Based on our history with eBags, we also help established companies as consultants and through SaaS products. Story Collections, for example, is an SEO SaaS tool aimed at lowering an e-tailer’s search-marketing investment.

We’ve consulted for e-retailers. Projects have ranged from SEO, to prioritizing 45 profit-making methods, to building growth plans, assessing organizations, and helping implement low-cost / disruptive retail platforms (Magento Commerce). A few clients: Shoes.com (owned by Brown Shoe) and RightStart.com (owned by Liberty Media).
 
 
 
Our first SaaS product -- called Story Collections -- is a sophisticated customer-engagement-engine that provides automated-SEO-benefits to e-retailers. This solution does NOT require the e-retailer to deploy any IT resources. Similar to the way eBags led the 1999 build-out of eBags' revolutionary customer review process (one of the nation's first five e-retailers enable product reviews), Wambo feels this SaaS product is equally progressive.
 
 
 
We recognize that brains, not cash, are key to success for many web ideas. The Wambo team integrates knowledge workers, versus finding capital, for low-cost ground-up launches of e-media 100%-digital ideas. Some ideas like Zip-America were generated internally; others like TrekShare, UsingMiles and RunnerzLOG were started by other entrepreneurs, now considered partners. Currently, all sites are very early stage - so, stay tuned. Wambo’s pay is usually some combination of common stock (a sign of a true partnership) and a share of future profits.
